Your Needs
- Please inform us if you have any special physical or cultural needs during the course of your treatment.
- We are happy for family and whanau to accompany you into the treatment rooms.
- We are able to provide a translator if given 48 hours notice.
- We have staff with sign language skills.
- We have gowns and shorts available for your modesty within the treatment rooms.
- We respect the rights of the patient within the therapist/patient relationship.
- You are permitted to ask for a chaperone if you wish.
- One of the patient’s rights is to seek a second opinion. We have a policy at Prohealth Physiotherapy to seek a second opinion if your progress is not as expected. This may be from another physiotherapist within the practice, with an external physiotherapist or your GP/Specialist. Your physiotherapist may instigate it, or you may ask for one during the course of your treatment.
